The Northern Kentucky Council of the Blind is a chapter of the Kentucky Council of the Blind. NKCB has blind, visually impaired, and sighted members in Campbell, Boone, Kenton and surrounding counties. NKCB works for equality and independence for all people with vision loss. NKCB advocates for quality education for blind children and youth, expanded training and job opportunities for visually impaired adults, improved services for seniors over age 60 who are just losing their vision, and better public transportation for people who cannot drive. NKCB supports issues that touch all blind and visually impaired people, such as: Explore our website and learn about our local meetings and activities, as well as state and national programs, publications and events. We encourage all blind, visually impaired and sighted persons to contribute their input on education, employment, transportation, and other issues affecting people with low vision. We encourage everyone to attend our warm and educational meetings to learn more about programs in the northern Kentucky area. copyright 2008 by the Northern Kentucky Council of the BlindWelcome to the NKCB Website
